As a project, we have spent a long time thinking about how best to harness the growing interest around shame in healthcare, and we’re excited to announce the formation of the Shame in Healthcare Network. The network is an inclusive, international group of interdisciplinary professionals who are committed to openly acknowledging and addressing the role of shame in healthcare through discussion, collaboration, and scholarship.
The Network is hosting a series of quarterly webinars that will explore various aspects of shame in healthcare through expert presentations and group discussion.
To join the webinars: sign up for sessions here. We recommend signing up for a session even if you’re not sure you’ll be able to make it just to ensure that you receive the zoom link and invitation. You will receive these within a week of signing up.
To join the email list: we’re creating a mailing list to publicize the Network’s activities. The webinar sign-up form includes an option to be added to our list. If you’d like to be added, but can’t attend any of the webinars, you should still complete the form.
